I’ve been using plex for a long time. Never really had any issues with it at all. I add metadata and format all my movies and shows on a mac using iflicks, which I have also used for a very long time.
But for some reason Season 1 of The Expanse is causing me headaches. All the shows are there, all the metadata inputted by iflicks is correct. But Plex skips every other episode on the metadata Plex uses.
For instance, episode two shows the meta data for episode 3,
Episode 4 shows metadata for 5
Episode 5 shows metadata for 7.
I’ve tried the fix match, I’ve tried renaming the file, I’ve tried ripping it again.
I know my naming convention is good. Tv shows/the Expanse/season 1/103 - remember the can’t
I’ve used it without issue on every single other show I have. I did try the s01e03 style as well, no dice.
I tried looking to make sure it was pulling the right data, it uses thetvdb, which is the same as iflicks, so I’m not sure what’s up there. I tried using the file info at the top of the list, that didn’t work.
I’m out of ideas, can anyone help?
