Plex migration from Synology to QNAP

My old Synology NAS died and I now have a QNAP.
I was able to save the data from the Synology and I installed Plex on the QNAP.
Then followed the instructions for migration as described here: Move an Install to Another System | Plex Support

After having copied all the data, when I login to Plex on the QNAP, I don’t see my old libraries. It just looks as if it is a new installation of Plex.

I did notice all folders 755 access rights with owner admin and group administrator (which I believe is the default for apps installed on QNAP). On Synology this owner and group used to be plex:plex. Can this be a problem?

How can I get my old libraries with all the meta-data back?

I did change from ISP, using my own ASUS router. Turning on / off DNS rebinding or entering DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on LAN settings didn’t help.

This seemed to do the trick though: Server settings are unavailable, can't access server via LAN (only plex.tv)

I did notice though that a lot of movies and series that had status watched are marked as unwatched again. I hope I don’t have to redo all of that again. It’s a shame there still is not a good solution yet to integrate with Trakt to restore watched status (as was previously possible with the plugins).
