In order to get Plex to show the movie name I first need to scan with the TMDB agent. The Plex Movie Scanner and Agent frustratingly pulls the filename. Running Fix Match doesn’t change this. Is there a reason for this?

Edit the movie library,
go to the “Adanced” tab
clear the checkbox “Prefer local metadata”
Refresh Metadata
In general: don’t make any changes to your library settings, or try to edit any individual items before all “library scan” activites have subseded.
