Hi, I hope I am posting in the right thread. Pls let me know where to go if it’s not the case.
I replaced my DS412+ by a DS920+ and moved the discs from the old one to the new one.
The OS is now DSM 7.0.1-42218 Update 3 and I followed the instructions in this thread to install PMS 1.25.9.5673.
No error message. I deleted the PLEX folder, checked the permissions for “PlexMediaServer” on the media folders…
Pb is PMS is unable to fetch the media data. So far I have created only one library and did no changes to the agents. The one in use seems to be “Plex Movie”
Having similar issues. Did a fresh install on my Synology NAS this morning and it now won’t pull down any metadata. Permissions are fine and can see the various media folders okay. Only seems to work when I manually change the agent away from ‘Plex Movie’ in the advanced settings for the library, which I’d prefer not to do. Changing the priority of the agents doesn’t change anything. Thanks.
@BlackMesaUK
Not sure it’s exactly the same issue because on my side I do not have a “Plex Agent” option in advanced library edition :
Moreover when I try to change for “Plex Movie (Legacy)” for instance, I have to click on “Library Update” but after that, the agent is still “Plex Movie” (no change).
Apologies, my bad…I meant to say ‘Plex Movie’ and have updated my post above. If I change it to ‘The Movie Database’ it works for me and stays at that setting.
@BlackMesaUK
In that case we definitively have different issues.
On my side none agent is working and all the movies stay without metadata despite all the “refresh” and agents in the world
Therefore I think there is something wrong in my installations (with “s” because I did several)
