As of 02April2025, Plex Movies no longer can match any movies, and has been having trouble with series over the past few days. No new movie can be matched. No old movie already matched shows up in a search (when using fix match).
This is a Plex Movie database issue
can you grab the plex media info xml for one of the movies that has this issue
May we also please see the server DEBUG logs ZIP file ?
I suspect a database problem
Same, if I want plex to match anything I have to change to a “Legacy” agent, match it sync the meta data and then switch back to the Plex Agent because otherwise you get the red warning telling you there is an issue because they really want you to use their agent.
@littleneutrino Can you please create your own thread with a copy of your server logs? Odds are its unrelated and we will better help you two separately.

Did you attempt to create an optimized file, writing to a location which is read-only ?
I ran the optimize buttons yea. the Plex app has Full read Write to my media directories and folders of the Plex app though. I was unaware of any other issues it might be having.
Where’s the transcoder temp pointing? Is there R/W there?
Also, When the agents were updated, did you complete upgrading each library section? Your libraries are spitting errors as if they weren’t.
They should be:
Transcoder temp field in the server is blank, I never updated it. As far as the Agents go, I only updated the ones that gave me the Red warning at the top of the screen, I can go back and correct those now. But as mentioned at the beginning here the Plex Agent doesnt match anything for me at the moment. Let me update those real quick (should I also create a Temp folder and point those transcodes to it as well?)
I created a new folder with full PlexMediaServer permissions and pointed Transcoding temp to it, and I have also set all Library’s to the Plex Agents.
May I see file structure and naming? (exactly as you have it)
I need more. Directories aren’t enough detail

Not only that, but when you switch to another agent it completely stops Watchlist from working. Plex Agent is NOT WORKING! Something broke in the latest build and it stops randomly matching some things. And now that I switched away from Plex Agent and switched back my Add to Watchlist is gone from all clients
