Plex Agent for both TV and Movies has just stopped working for me on some movies and shows. It does work on some but fails to search or match on random ones. When I switched to a different Agent that works, it found a ton more movies and shows that plex agent did not, but now the Add to Watchlist option is gone on all clients! I switched back to Plex Agent and Add to Watchlist is still missing
what are your settings for new agent in library under Advanced?
I refreshed all metadata when I switched as well just in case, but its been a couple days and still I am missing the watchlist option
Can you share your PMS logs, please? Also what was the other agent that you were using?
did you hit the check box to refresh in the pop up when switching or did you manually from library menu? I know there was an issue with check box i thought was fixed but maybe an issue again.
I manually did it. I can provide logs yes, give me a bit and I will provide them

Can you please provide the entirety of the PMS logs that you can download from the server?
I am having a similar issue with plex not matching movies and new tv series. It isn’t sporadic or inconsistent, nothing matches at all if its new to the server.
When I try to manually match it instantly comes back with No Matches Found.
I too have the same issue. Patiently waiting to see how this thread unfolds.
I got mine working again.
I used ChuckPA’s DBRepair tool and I can successfully match and load metadata again.
In my case i’m running a docker container on unraid and used this version: Release v1.10.03 - Set LC_ALL=C when null · ChuckPa/PlexDBRepair · GitHub
I used the auto option.

eth0: 2500 Mbps, full duplex, mtu 1500
with a single 310TB xfs Array of 21 devices
and a 1TB nvme zfs Cache drive.
Plex is running via Binhex/Arch-plexpass Docker Container running Version 1.41.6.9606 currently.
I have anywhere from 3 to 12 active users at any given point in time and I very often (and always have) the db slow blah blah message, I’d love to be able to fix that but nothing i’ve ever tried helped.
Hopefully this is helpful in some way

Also experiencing this issue, running in Docker on Unraid. DBRepair script did not solve the issue.
same problem here, repairing using ChuckPA worked once or twice, but after a few days the problem comes back…
You have something actively corrupting your database. Unraid has had SO many reports on this forums that I suspect something with their file system and the Plex databases just dont get along.
Same issue with manual files being added to library folders. Plex Movie and Plex TV Series Agents affected and no longer matching.
I have the exact same problem on Ubuntu 22.04. The TVDB and MovieDB agents work fine, just plex movie and plex tv series show things like " Request for plug-in [tv.plex.agents.series] but it doesn’t exist" over and over.
