Quick music codec question
Why does ALAC files show song and artist like this.
But FLAC doesn’t it just shows song title like 2nd pic. Just curious is there something to turn on off or what.
The m4a ALAC files have additional metadata in them with an additional track artist field that’s being used by Plex. FLAC doesn’t have that metadata.
There should be an option in the library settings to not use file metadata. I can’t remember exactly
Of course it does. That doesn’t mean it is always populated in every file, though.
I was referring to the OPs FLAC files.
