This problem broke the auto select subtitle function.
I’d tried to rename my subtitle to “MyShow.zh-TW.ass” “MyShow.zht.ass”, “MyShow.cht.ass” and plex find it but plex server will recognize the subtitle as UNKNOWN language.
And I’d also notice that subtitle search function will search “cht” for “臺語”, that’s weird.
And this is also fun problem if I rename the subtitle to “MyShow.zh-hant.ass”, it will be recognized to “中文（台灣）”, same language with not same Id, and not list in prefer subtitle so still doesn’t make sence.
The workable solution I recommend is below:
- If subtitle locale code is “zh-TW” “cht”, please map subtitle to “臺語”
- make “zh-hant” selectable at prefer subtitle.
