Plex New Ads crash (NAS server)

There is one Ad (“First Matters”, I get to about the point of “First x-ray”) that crashes every time it occurs. The Ad first stutters, then stops, and Plex crashes/restarts.
I have the Western Digital PR4100 NAS and Amazon Fire.
If for some reason that Ad is simply incompatible - how do I make sure it is never shown???
Particularly annoying because of the way Plex seems to show the same Ad several times in a row - so it normally takes perhaps 3 crashes in a row before I can start using Plex again.
Please let me know if you need any logs.

What Ad?
The only way to get ads is when you are using the ‘Plex News’ feature, which is running solely on your client and has nothing to do with your server.

Or do you mean ‘movie trailers’?
If so, disable them on your client. (‘Number of movie trailers to show’)

I use my MyCloudPR4100/Fire TV to watch Plex on the TV. General Settings shows 6.13.7.3458 (974b0628) if that helps…
The Ads appear while watching “My Newscast”. The only one that crashes is the “First Matters…” advertisement. In case it is important … the WD NAS server ads used to report “…not fast enough for streaming…” (but ‘usually’ didn’t completely crash PLEX) but that problem seems to have gone away.

Your server is not involved in playing News.

If you enable ‘Network Logging’ in the preferences of the Plex app on your FireTV,
you can then get logs from it next time the crash is occuring
by going to http://IP-of-your-firetv:32500/logging
copy it into a test file and attach it here.

Crash Log Attached.

Thank you for the log!
I have filed a bug report.
