So I updated my server to Version 1.9.2.4285 (Ubuntu 16.04) in excitement for Plex News. I see the News category on my Android app, I connect it to my Chromecast, and I can’t steam the news but I can stream any movies, shows, and “other” media. News won’t steam to my television but steams to my phone with out any problems.
Also, I do NOT have a News tab in my Plex Web UI. Any idea’s?

I certainly hope it doesn’t make it to the Web UI and if it does, with the possibility to remove it.

The later one would be the far better option.
While I myself am not too keen on using the news feature with the webUI, I love to use it with my Android Tablet.
On the other hand, I can imagine a lot of people using the news feature with the webUI.
The possibility to optionaly use a feature is always better (for the user(s)) than no feaure at all.
When it arives, I will test it and if it’s nt for me … I deactivate it.
Plex News will come to the web UI, as will the option to disable it.
