I use Ember Media Manager for creating NFO files for my movies and tv shows. In Plex I use only agent XBMCNfoImporter.
My movies/shows are grabing/renaming/importing Sonarr and Radarr. When movie/show is imported Ember launches and creates NFO with all artwork.
After that I check in Plex and see that Plex isnt syncing NFO files. Show is unmatch.
It work only if I do manually fix match and choose auto match with NFOImporter.
Maybe is problem that Plex import movie/show few seconds before Ember finish creating NFO file ?
Other than the IMDB ID, Plex does not read information from NFO files.
Do not download files directly to a Plex library. This will lead to problems when Plex scans partially downloaded media. Instead, download to an alternate location, then move the file to the Plex library once downloading is complete.
This usually comes down to file permissions or naming and organization.
Please show how you have things organized and named - a directory listing, screenshot, etc. Include the full path to the files and which folder is added to the library.
No idea what effect XBMCnfoMoviesImporter might be having on things. If that is causing a problem you’ll have to contact the developer.
The problem is as I assumed that Plex sync movie before NFO and artwork is written. So I now disabled automatic sync when folder changes. And I enable it to sync every 1 hour.
So Ember Media Maneger have time to written it before Plex.
