Plex no longer connects to my Plex Media Server on Synology NAS!

I think it is probably time to upgrade my NAS to DSM 7.x.x and start over with Plex. This will take me a while to plan since my NAS also acts as backup system for my SoHo.

1. Uninstall the Plex (DSM 6 package)
2. Upgrade to DSM 7
3. Now install the DSM 7 package.

Read the instructions it gives you carefully . It will tell you exactly what to do for your machine (customized per machine).
