i installed an Astrometa usb tv tuner on my server running ubuntu (both os and plex server are up to date).
When i first installed it, plex saw the tuner but i was unable to search dvb-c after some searching on the net i tried following instructions from Quick Start Guide (the linux section), after that the plex server no longer detected my tuner, i removed rtl-sdr and also the file that blocked the os’s driver for rtl28xxu but still nothing.
after reverting to the original driver i can see the device again in /dev/dvb as adapter 0
and i can use dvb-fe-tool to get this result (this for frontend1):
root@localplex:/home/user# dvb-fe-tool -adapter=adapter0 --frontend=1

what else could have gone wrong? i don’t want to reinstall the whole system just for this.
