One day last week all of a sudden Plex says my server is unavailable even though all my other devices use it with no problem. i had spent over 1000 hours building playlists and libraries and now they cannot be accessed. Plex has absolutely no support. I now have to start all over again with another program. It is a shame that they take your money but have no support to help you. No one has been able to help me so far.
Since you provide no details you cannot be asking for help and since you do not say which device is not working correctly we can’t even guess.
Also the “money” you paid has nothing to do with support. All users get the same mediocre support from Plex. Plex Pass’s only function is to open up a few features that non-Plex Pass users cannot access.
The Plex app no longer sees my server. My server is working fine. The Plex app works fine but just cannot see the server where my library is. It created another duplicate server with the same name and it has nothing on it but it is the server where all my files are kept. I seem to have lost all the thousands of hours I spent making playlists. It still shows the server with my stuff on it but it says the server is not available. If I didn’t answer something I might not have understood the question. I am starting to think that I need some other app that gives support. I cannot afford to build a library and playlists (which takes so much time) and lose it again. Plex sucks for this and the fact that they have no support means it is too much of a gamble to put time into. I do not recommend this app for anyone.
Which Plex app? Are your talking about access to Plex Web via the Browser, if so try accessing it from this address in your Browser of choice.
Or at a guess are you talking about Plex for Windows, I must say all your complaining about Plex and no support, how can anyone help with nothing to go on.
Duplicate servers? Do you see two servers in Authorised Devices? You need to delete the new server and sign in to your existing Server.
There goes his hundred plus dollars spent on a Pass. A bit more reading the forums would assist.

You are saying “how can anyone help with nothing to go on” . I am happy to tell anything but if I don’t understand the question I can’t answer it. You show an illustration that is unreadable. It is too small.
Maybe he is paying monthly. That would mean that he has not wasted much at all.
However you are correct that reading the forums and providing good detail as to what errors he sees and when they happen and providing server logs might give the info needed to solve the problem. The problem is probably in his network But it could be diagnosed with more and more detailed info.

Both. I even accessed it fro app on my server.
I am not sure what you mean by there goes the hundreds of dollars spent on Plex. The problem isn’t the money, it’s my time. Your comment seems snide. Why don’t you save yourself time and just don’t respond. You must have better things to do.

Which Plex app are you talking about here. There are many of them. via web browser, a mobile phone app, one of our TV based apps?

It’s hard to find where to reply to all the different messages coming in. I assume this reply will reach everyone. Someone said I exaggerated saying I’ve been reading for days. I have been online reading articles not necessarily on the forum. I have been reading and looking at YouTube videos. I’ve been using this for four years and have a pretty good handle on how to use it. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it both on my computer through a browser and through my server. After doing a bunch of things it now it shows my server but with nothing on it. It shows the server with the same name also but is unavailable. That one has my data on it and my playlist which were numerous.

Question: Are running the server on windows or are you only accessing it from a Windows computer? Like is the server actually running on another computer or another device like a NAS?
I am not home now to try the things you’re suggesting. I will when I get home. But it doesn’t work on my phone or at home on my desktop the app on my desktop I was able to use from either a web browser or the Plex app on my server
The server where my library is shows up on the left side where all my folders used to be. It shows up twice. One is empty but it sees my server. The other one says not available. The one that says not available is where all my library and playlists are
