Hi Guys,
I’m having issues with Plex TV Show library scanning. It either does not find the files or reports the wrong number of seasons. I can’t see any obvious reason for this when I look at the files. When Plex does find the files it incorrectly reports that there is one or three seasons. There are seven seasons. The show in question is The Shield. Any thoughts?
Already done, files are named using filebot and all files in my library are organized in the same consistent directory structure. Plex has NO problems finding my other TV Series that are in this particular sub directory so it should not be having a problem finding these.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that your files are named to the Plex naming standard. Filebot uses Kodi notation, unless you tell it otherwise.
Even if the files are correctly named, inserting additional subfolders can mess up the matching in a major way.
The same can happen if you add anything other than the library’s base folder.
Please show the actual folder structure and file names.
And please mention the show’s title.
