Hello, I am running Plex Media Server on a Windows 10 machine. This has happened several time, but usually ends up resolving itself in 1-3 months. I need to figure out why this keeps happening. It is usually after an update, such as the one I just did. It is telling me that Plex is not available outside of my network, but everything works on the server computer.
I have searched for this and found many answers, but they all seem to be pointing at people who use a wireless connection. The most common answer is to make sure the port is open. I run a cable direct from the wall to my computer. My service provider has a box located in my attic, but I do not have access to its configuration. I am not really sure where to go from here.
