Having odd issues with my plex server, it keeps showing " Not available outside your network"
when i have the Manually port/direct connection (32400) enabled,
the host system has a static ip set and port is open on the host and the router
not really sure if this is plex, the Windows OS or something on the router
Did you confirm the server is not accessible from a remote device (e.g. a mobile/tablet with WLAN disabled)? Sometimes the indicator in Plex is a little behind and incorrectly claims Plex is not available outside your network.
If it’s actually not working, please check if you can access the port you have forwarded in your router from the outside (e.g. using canyouseeme.org).
If the port on the router is accessible, the problem is somewhere between the router and Plex (e.g. your home network, the host machine/OS or Plex itself). If it’s not working you’ll need to double check your router configuration or contact your ISP.
If the router and host are open, then check your anti-virus software. I use McAfee online and have to open the ports with the Host, McAfee, and the Router. you may as well
