Remote access Not available outside your network

Everything I try it keeps saying Not available outside your network. I need to get this working and been trying for weeks. Is there a way to get direct support outside for the form??

So… how did you configure your server / router so far?

  • Router: UPnP enabled vs. manual port forward
  • Is your PMS directly connected to your router or are there other active network components “in the way” that establish their own local networks (e.g. with own local IP addresses)
  • Can you reach/see your router’s public IP address using the given public port (e.g. using a service like canyouseeme.org)?

I have been having this problem for some time now, but I think I have it resolved. Recently, I added a new wireless router to my network. I went through and configured UPnP, set up port forwarding, etc., but the PMS would be available for a minute at most outside my network and then switch to not available. I had to do two things - enable manual port selection in PMS (with port forwarding on my router), and then I noticed that I had somehow had PPPoE turned off on the router. I turned that on a couple of days ago, and the connection seems to be stable now.
