Plex not detecting files. (fixed)

I HAVE FIXED IT

I have tried following the naming on this support page, but it hasn’t worked for me.

Currently my naming scheme is
" Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (2009){tmdb-31911} "
for the folder and
" Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - S01E01.mkv"
for the video files.

While writing this I was able to fix it by running “chmod -R uog=rwx [insert your plex folder name”. This command will change the permissons of everything below that folder so that anyone can access it. It is not secure and you should probably not do this for anything that matters.

It seems plex also needed access to the files it self and not only the folders.
