Plex not downloading metadata for movies

For the last several weeks, any new movies added to my PMS, the PMS is not downloading the metadata. I have a library of about 1000 movies. The last 15 movies added to my library within the last couple of weeks are the only missing metadata (all other 900+ movies that have been added before recently, are showing metadata perfectly fine). I can’t for the life of me figure out how to fix this.

Steps taken:

  • I stopped PMS, Restarted. Empty Trash, Clear bundles, scan library, refresh all meta data.
  • I noticed for a while now that I did have “IPV6” enabled in the PMS Settings (I have disabled that). I also disabled IPv6 on the network adapter (and on router).
  • I did have verbose debugging selected, but have since unchecked that.
  • I have restarted the PMS countless times
  • I have added new movies to the library, but still metadata is not downloading.

Running PMS on a QNAP NAS (TVS-951x)
Running the latest version of PMS: Version 1.18.2.2058

I see this as well… If you go into “edit” for the movie, then it will have the posters there, but the poster does not automatically switch over once downloaded.

When everyone is back from the holiday, we hope there will be forward movement.

Any resolution to this yet?

Any comment from someone at Plex, or are they not monitoring this forum anymore?
