With “shows” of that period, you’re usually dealing with videos that were originally released as short films and only later broadcast as a show consisting of those short films.
It’s even mentioned in the show’s description on TheTVDb:
… It began as a series of short films in the 1920s, and was brought to television in the 1950s.
You’ll therefore probably find them listed as movies / short films on IMDb and TMDb, and Plex will probably go by that categorization.
