FRUSTRATED!! Plex will not find my HD homerun tv tuner. Tried reaching out to support and they just told me to find topic on forum. Frustrating when I paid for lifetime Plex Pass and can’t use it. Not a computer wizard, so could use some help with this issue. I have already wasted hours trying to resolve. Any help Appreciated.

Help us help you, tell us about your setup. Is your server docker, windows, mac, on a nas? Can you use the HDHomerun app to watch? What have you done so far? Have you tried to add it manually?
For anyone to be able to help, you do need to be more specific about your hardware and OS configuration.
For example, Plex continues to connect perfectly to HDHomeRun on my Mac mini as it always has. But ever since Plex did their “upgrades” to their mobile apps, the connections to my HDHomeRun have been often broken and flaky on the iPad and iPhone apps only…it’s still working perfectly on the Mac.
Hi. As others have suggested, please tell us more about your setup.
For example, I’m running a Plex server on a Linux machine (Ubuntu 24.xx). A few months after running the Plex server, I purchased a Homerun quad-tuner box. I followed instructions to bring it online, etc, and when I went into the Plex server and had it search for OTA tuners, it successfully found my Homerun tuner. I’ve been using it successfully ever since (I bought the tuner a few months ago).
Did you run the included Windows software that came with the tuner? I think I had to run that first to get the tuner online and working. Once I was able to use it via the Windows software, I was able to add the tuner to Plex.
