Plex Media Server Logs_2022-01-04_02-56-34.zip (2.2 MB)
From one of the first paragraphs in the article you linked:
complaining or talking in generalities doesn’t really help you get your problems solved, be sure to provide specific details, including exact client and server plex versions (It DOES matter), what kind of server hardware (gpu/cpu/ram/storage/etc), is the server running on bare metal, virtualized, or in a container, network (wifi or wired), tv or device model.
Is this a new server setup, or have you had it for a while and this just started happening?
I glanced at the logs (I don’t know how to read them, so I just looked for something obvious). Someone else might be able to interpret them, but I saw something about EAC3 EAE errors. Something about the folder location being wrong? I wonder if you configured the server wrong somehow… Info as mentioned up above on what the server is installed on will be of great use.
You haven’t provided much info on the actual problem so I’m guessing it’s just general playback problems.
I see 2 potential issues.
1 - Your server is on a public IP address. PMS is designed to run on a private LAN network.
2 - What @Divideby0 mentioned about the EAE folder.

Make sure the Plex user has executable rights.
I’m sorry this is not a new server. I’ve had it for years now. This just happened when I noticed that Plex indicated that a new software version was out and I subsequently upgraded to the most recent version.
As I don’t maintain the actual server (I rent it through SeedHost.edu) they handle all the general maintenance and installation of software is typically through their web interface with one click. I’ll check with them about the EAC3 errors, but I don’t know why the folder location would change?
Yes I think you’re right, its a playback issue. I can FTP into the server and try and fix the folder location issue, though how to do so is beyond me as its a Linux OS. See here!
