Hello, I can connect to my content on the Plex for Mac app (1.16.0.1364-da192ff7) on my local and also thru the browser at http://127.0.0.1:32400/web that is also running PMS and play my content locally no problem and get full local playback via Direct Stream.
Not able to play content on native apps or safari mobile except thru throttled remote access. I turned off the Remote Access for troubleshooting as I can not access my content on other devices on LAN or WAN (Hardwired Apple TV’s, iOS). I can see my nearby server on those apps, but won’t show any content.
To test, when I access https://app.plex.tv/desktop on Safari on my iPhone on WiFi, I can sign in, see the PMS, and see my shared libraries. If I try to access one of those libraries, I get an error “The Server XX does not allow secure connections”. I have my Settings>Network>Secure Connections set to Preferred as Plex recommends. But can not play any content on Safari mobile on iOS. Assume this may be also the reason content is not playing on the native iOS and Apple TV apps. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to resolve this? Problem just started this past week. Thank you in advance!
