Plex not recognizing files with extensions in all caps

Hi,

My camera generates media files with extension in all caps ie. VIDEO_12321.MP4. When I copy these over to my a folder where my PLEX library is linked to, it doesn’t seem to pick up these files until I manually rename and change the file extension to lower case ie. VIDEO_12321.mp4.

Is there a setting in Plex where I can specify to ignore cases or something similar? Or maybe specify the file extension itself.

I’ve looked around the settings but can’t seem to find it. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t missed it out.

That sounds like an old bug
What version is your Plex server software?

Sorry forgot to mention that. I’m currently on version 1.24.1.4931. PMS is install on my FreeNAS 11.3 as a plugin.
