I’ve been having issues logging into plex today from home on my Nvidia shields, web browsers, nor on my phone (home network or cell network). When I went to check the status page everything was green but thought I’d report it anyway. When I tried to login to the forums, it hung and eventually I got them message in the screenshot below.
Seems like the status page may not be catching everything. It finally worked but was slow. Anyone else seeing issues?
Yeah the service took a dump for a few minutes. Kind of ridiculous that we cant play from our local servers when the plex god service is down
Yeah that is annoying. We were able to play locally using the last logged in profile but couldn’t switch.
Regardless, having a status page that doesn’t seem to reflect actual status seems like a problem.
Agreed. I used downdetector instead.
I had a different experience than you. I was in the middle of watching a movie locally and it just stopped in the middle. I couldnt do anything until the service came back.
