The problem is if there is an update to plex Media Server for Synology - I receive no notice but Live TV connections just fail to play and scheduled recordings fail to record. This happens frequently enough that I’ve learned that it’s probably an update has been released toward the end of the week and I have to manually go to the Plex site. Download an update and manually install the update on Synology.
I’m not concerned too much about the manual download and install process.
The problem is Plex just breaks when a new update is made available for download.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to fix so Plex media server doesn’t break just because an update is available?
Appreciate any help and insight.
