I have read other topics about this issue regarding S21 and Ultra not able to play plex and getting a constant spinning wheel. Out of the 120 comments I think I only saw one plex employee comment and it wasn’t how to solve the issue. It is very frustrating that we all and myself included buy these new expensive phones and pay for plex and then not even have it work on our phones. Anyone have any solutions on this issue, or better yet and plex employee with an answer? I emailed plex and they said they can’t do anything and have to post in this thread. So hopefully there’s a solution real quick because apparently this has been going on for almost a month. Thanks!
Plex works just fine on my S21 Ultra, always has.
Without ANY technical details on your end, how do you expect for anybody to reply something usefull ?
Wifi on your local LAN ? Using 4G (remote) ? “spinning wheel” at what stage ? Can you login ? Do you see your library ?
I’m running Plex 8.26.2.29389 (fdca424e) and the app is the purchased one, so I can watch both locally and cast it to eg. Chromecast.
Yes, I have the same version of plex as you. I tried turning off my wifi and tried it on my 5G remote and still nothing. Sometimes I am able to access my library and sometimes it won’t load and say my server is unavailable. But the majority of the time I see my library and click on a video and it takes me to the video but doesn’t load and does the infinite spinning wheel. I mean my plex works at home. Crashes a lot but at least it plays. Don’t know what else to do.
What is plex running on ? PC ? NAS ? Windows ? Linux ?
I think you’ll have to activate some more extensive “logging” , try to get the issue and then post the logfiles here or something.
Otherwise, its nearly impossible to tell anything usefull.

Euh, see the link I posted ? You need to set some logging parameters in Plex, try to re-create the issue and then from the Plex web-interface you can fetch a ZIP-file containing some interesting logs.
These can be posted here on the forum to people to look at.
