I have just set up my LG OLED55GX6LA, installed the Plex TV app and logged in fine but unfortunately the app cannot connect to my Plex Media Server. I know there are a lot of other frustrated LG users on here but I haven’t been able to find a solution for my set up.
Can anyone help?

Firstly start with your TV network settings.
Make sure IPv6 is not enabled, then manually set network. with a DNS of 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and input your other information.
The LG app works fine if set up correctly, as for lots of frustrated users I can not understand why.

Switching off IPv6 and changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 worked a treat.

I’ve spent all evening trying to fix this and just about gave up when I read this post. And it’s sorted now! I don’t understand why it suddenly stopped working or why I had to enter the DNS as 8.8.8.8 in the TV network connection settings, but it works and that’s all that matters. Thank you.
