Works well! Just discovered that it was finally available for free for the LG last night, downloaded it and it more or less looks and performs fine.
And FINALLY, I have access and use of PLEX CHANNELS ON MY TV!!! YAY!!! 
The two main issues I have are (1) fairly frequent problems with buffering and disconnects with the wireless connection between PLEX and my computer and (2) the ability to use/add trailers and extras to my Library in order to access them to play before my movies in PLEX.
How, exactly, do I accomplish this and how do I place and name the files to be accessed properly?
Other than those, the new PLEX for LG seems great and will likely serve my family very well!

A HUUUUUUGE thank you to Simon J. Hogan for creating his PLEX client (now called PLAYZ). Iāve been using it since early 2014, after Iād just bought my 2013 LG TV and discovered PLEX, but found that it wasnāt available for my set. Simonās version of PLEX worked AMAZINGLY, was seamless with the PLEX software on my computer and made my whole āSmart TVā experience all the more exciting!
I even had friends who jumped on the PLEX bandwagon after they saw Simonās app in use on my TV! Theyād never seen anything like it before, with its ease of use and graphic interface!
Simon put an incredible amount of blood. sweat and tears into creating and maintaining PLAYZ, and he deserves every bit of thanks and kudos that comes his way, for helping so many people enjoy their multimedia collections to the fullest! Many thanks, Simon!!!
