I haven’t used Plex on my Shield TV for I while, and now I am finding lots of different things.
My immediate problem is that I can’t move back and forward within a video file when playing it.
I can see the icons, but can’t select them.
I can only jump back and forward by 20 seconds, that’s all.
I need something faster to find scenes in a 5 hour video.
Any ideas?
Press Up (top of ring) twice on the remote. You’ll see a white dot on the progress bar. You can then use left/right to move through the video.

These tricks - is there a guide somewhere for them? I would not have dreamt of using the UP switch for this.
Not that I’m aware of. I basically stumbled across it.
Use Down to see chapters.
However, there’s a bug in the current client. Sometimes the chapters appear for about 1/4 second, then disappear. No idea why. I can’t find a pattern. Force stopping the app doesn’t fix it. Have to restart the Shield.
