Plex on Chromecast GoogleTV not using Bluetooth Headphones

I’ve run into an issue that I’m unable to figure out. I have a Chromecast with GoogleTV with Plex on it.

I have a pair of bluetooth headphones my wife likes to use connected to it. Every other streaming app seems to default to the headphones fine when they’re connected, but Plex refuses to use them. I’ve no idea why or how to force it over to the Bluetooth when its enabled.

Anyone else run into something similar?
