My Plex apps on IOS crashes immediately after clicking Live TV. It has been like this for months. I have the crash logs, but are they safe to share to strangers on the internet?
Logs can contain quite a bit of information, especially details about the media you are playing, IP addresses and account names, some like not to share them publicly. Best bet is that if a Plex team member replies, you can provide logs via a DM.
It would be great if Plex could provide an out of bound secure transfer method, where we could just add a linking code in forums so we can proactively provide logs in a secure reliable manner (many apps do this already by default). A few folks have suggested such approaches to Plex previously, that were rejected outright. I would have thought that encouraging us to share more logs would be something Plex would want.
