Plex on Nvidia Shield Pro is not loading Dolby Vision movies, is just shows the buffering icon continuously and does nothing, any ideas why that might happen?
Plex on my LG B1 loads the same video without any issues and the Dolby Vision flag appears on the corner of the screen.
All apps/devices have the latest firmware available.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Do you have a sample video that this happens with?
It would also be helpful if you could reproduce, and then share the logs from your Shield.
Actually it was the Shield to blame (or the Android OS, not sure).
When buying the Shield it comes with Plex already installed but it’s a very old version of it.
When going on Google Play Store and check for updates everything shows as up to date (although none of the app is).
You have to go to each app, open the menu for it, scroll to info, once you open the info page you see a button to update the app which is ridiculously stupid and I’ve seen multiple Plex users complaining about similar issues that I’ve experienced.
After the update everything works fine.
TLDR: Make sure you update the Plex app, even though it shows up to date in Google Play Store.
