Had the same issue with 4K HDR Atmos (high bitrate) files, doing the below solved it…for the moment!:
1/ Shield - Freeing storage space.
2/ Shield - Deactivating Dolby Vision (only keeping HDR10 activated).
3/ Shield - Setting processor mode to Optimized (not Max)
