Thank you, I have the new version but my Samsung series 8 tv still has the same message. Even after reinstalling the app on the tv. Any thoughts? Plex works from my mobile device which then I cast to a Chromecast device. This works but annoying to use.

Unplugged TV power and it’s working properly.
Was the first time I’d seen this.
Having the same issue today. Plex worked fine this afternoon. But this evening the text appears.
Uninstalled the app. Reinstalled. And it is working again now

Just got the same issue on my TV, worked fine earlier today but now it returns java errors combined with parts of the UI which doesn’t work.

This is somewhat inconvenient, might have to connect my old nexus player to this TV.

Left the plex app running for a while, like 2 hours. Exited the app by holding down the back button on the Samsung remote so it closed the app. Launched the app again and it worked like before. Odd.
I’ve been getting these errors far too often lately, and it’s really starting to irritate me. I’m not sure what has changed in 2019, but the Tizen Plex app worked perfectly for me prior to this year.
Sometimes I’ll get the ‘js/css eval’ errors that make the app completely unusable, even after rebooting the TV. Other times I’ll just get the UI loaded without any metadata/posters/text showing, which I suppose is somewhat usable considering I’ve committed the UI to memory.
But the errors are really frustrating.
Any update Plex? This app is now unusable. Any eta for a fix?

Same issue here!!! Worked fine up until a week ago and now i keep getting the same error. My samsung model is: UE55KS8002. I’m so glad i didn’t buy the plex pass yet when seeing this thread!
Been waiting for the fix. I use my fireStick now. It always works. Maybe Samsung and Plex will sort this to keel me on device and a Samsung fan going forward.

It’s the same here. Either I get the code stuff or I get the error where it spins and goes blank.

A few days ago had a problem with Plex 1.16.4 on Synology; managed to reinstall older version & everything worked fine again. Today I get the errors on the Samsung TV (as described in this thread). Hopefully, tomorrow I get surprised by all problems being resolved…
Started doing this again yesterday, is there still not a definitive fix?
