Plex on Shield - transcoder was unable to process movies

My NVIDIA Shield will not sync movies to my devices. Every movie gives a “The transcoder was unable to process this media” error. I can sync TV shows with the Shield with no error, and those same movies sync from my old Windows-based server (running version# 1.14.1.5488) with no error.
