Plex needs to expand on all Smart TV’s whatever it takes, just do it!! if Netflix and Qickflix can do it why can not Plex do it!! be the next Facebook or something and bite the bullet, I don’t mind playing for it!!
Because the hardware in a “smart TV” tends to be horribly inadequate as a Plex client. And then the TV manufacturer supports it just a few months of updates then abandons it, and you’re forced to look elsewhere again.
Might as well just spend $60 on a Roku, and actually get support and updates. Instead of being tied to your TV and at the mercy of your TC manufacturer who really couldn’t care less about updating the “smart apps”.
