Plex Media Server.log (1.1 MB)
Plex Media Server.5.log (10.0 MB)
The first log file is from the end of my last attempt to do the conversion.
The second log file is from the beginning of my current attempt.
I’m trying to create a 1080p version of Top Gun: Maverick ripped from the 4K Blu-Ray using Plex’s built-in version optimization feature. I’m using the TV preset.
My Plex server is installed as a Docker container on my Unraid NAS. The server has a 1 TB cache drive, and this is where the optimized file is being saved, which I’ve confirmed by finding the temporary file during the coversion.
Each time, the optimization gets to 100% and then it says it failed. Checking the logs, it says:
Error while decoding stream #0:1: No space left on device
The cache drive is mostly empty, so there’s over 900 GB of free space even with the 12 GB file that’s been created when the optimization is at 100%.
The problem persists even after the docker container is restarted.
