hello, just considering to upgrade my account to plex pass, for which I received recently a special offer. Before buying it, It would like to know if I can share the content with a friend in this way.
Nas, where PMS is now installalled, is located at friend house (so in its lan, not in my lan).
Basically, until now, that server was connected to his account which is sharing contents with me after invitation (he is the owner, the server is in its lan, I am a guest which reach that server remotely).
Now, if I upgrade my account to plex to pass, I will be the owner but the server is not in my lan. My friend will become the guest, but the server is in its lan.
Hope I explained well my concern. Will this setup work?
basically, it is necessary that the owner is in lan and guest is remote, or is it also possible that the owner is remote and the guest is in the same lan of the server?
