I have plex on my tv, phone, tablet, etc. I purchased plex pass so I could use it on mobile devices a few months ago. At that time, we had our household Apple ids and family sharing set up incorrectly. Now that we have set up all of our Apple ids properly among my family, I no longer have plex pass. I was using my wife’s Apple ID in iTunes Store before and signed up for plex with my own email address. Now my Apple ID in iTunes is my email and my plex is my own email, but I can’t restore my previous purchase. Plex support said I could consider setting up plex home but I’m not sure I need that as I’m the only one who uses it. One other piece of information is that I don’t have a plex server but just stream from friends who have invited me to their libraries.
Your account doesn’t show that you’ve ever had a Plex Pass. Are you sure you got the Plex Pass or are you referring to the in-app activation fee. That is not the same thing. The activation is tied to the appstore account that made the purchase, only. It is not compatible with family sharing. Sounds like you bought it under your wife’s iTunes account. You need to install the app using her iTunes account again. Or you will need to re-purchase the activation under your iTunes account too.
