i can not seem to get trailers added to my movies automatically with plex pass. only way i can get trailers fir that movie us by adding the file manually.

Please check out this Plex Support Article: Cinema Trailers & Extras.

Some important things to note from that article:

  • You need to have version 0.9.9.13 or newer
  • Automatic extras requires an active Plex Pass subscription. These extras [trailers] are not downloaded and stored locally; they are streamed as-needed and thus require an active internet connection to use.
