Plex Pass Users and Restrictions - Double checking

Here’s the long and short

  • I setup a headless linux server (Ubuntu 18 x64)
  • I setup plex accounts for kids and shared specific libraries to them
  • I signed up for Plex Pass and created user accounts (this way they could sign into the TV’s easier)

I noticed when signing into their browsers/apps for the first time under my account it doesn’t prompt me to pick a user. If i select ‘switch user’ and switch to them and close the app/browser it seems to force them to now pick a user.

My concern - I want to be sure there is no way they will open the app and just be signed in as mu account; they will have to pick theirs

There is an option to auto login but yeah if that isn’t selected the user will have to pick a profile or user to login with and enter a pin if one is set.

This is intentional. Since you specifically used your admin username and password this time, the app assumes it is the admin user that is signing in.
