I did a search on whats available in my area as im about to drop Sky next month, I only watch 2 channels on Sky (Discovery and National geographic) I was quite excited that both channels were listed so thought about buying a lifetime subs but when i looked into this further, as i read it you have to already have a Sky subscription - I maybe wrong but not sure.
Which then means all i get is what i can already get, freesat or freeview and i can record on both my boxes.
Plex Pass will give you no media content.

You will not be able to use a Freesat box. At present, only Freeview content is accessible in the UK.
