I need some help. I am trying the yearly plex pass. I have sent out invites to family for my library. They have a plex account. Some get the email. Others do do not. Today I sent one to my cousin and watched him open the email from plex and accepted the invite. My plex never added him. He is still pending. What’s up with that?
If accepting the invitation from the email doesn’t work (some email clients may filter external links in emails) then have your invitees accept the invitation per the web site.
Particularly those which already have a Plex account.

Okay I’ll tell them to do that. Can they install the plex server then delete it once they approve the invite?
Oh, there is no need for them to install the server.
Just send them to https://app.plex.tv/desktop
When you approve a friend I don’t get the check mark. It only shows X

You can’t accept the invitation for someone else. That’s why you don’t see it.
But the invited person will see it, when (s)he logs in.
Ooohhh k so he has to sign in via the website his account. Got ya.
