I may cancel Plex Pass. The minute I bought it, I can’t play movies or music on any of my devices. I mean, the minute. Roku, android phone, laptop. Nowhere.
I’ve had zero issues for over a year. Buy the Plex Pass and bam, everything shut off. I even deleted my libraries and built new ones and scanned.
What is going on? I’m not smart enough to figure this out, but I’ll cancel the subscription and hope everything works again. If not, I’ll have to go to another app.
All the connections are set properly. Nothing has changed. I bought the Plex Pass and then a minute later, I can’t listen to music or watch a movie. Very strange.
When you join Plex Pass, the hardware transcoding feature gets enabled automatically. If your server can’t handle this, it can cause problems. Turn off hardware transcoding and see if that fixes your issue.
