My elderly parents live with me. I am not home often but they are retired and don’t have much to do. I turned them onto Plex and they watch it quite often.
One thing that has gotten quite aggravating is that they are CONSTANTLY calling me into the room to fix whatever they are watching. What is happening is that on my Samsung TV, the Plex app’s player has no dedicated “rewind” button. You can only rewind to the beginning or fast forward to the end. Now, we all here know all you do is press UP to go into the movie (for lack of better terms) feed and manually “rewind” it there. I have repeatedly shown them how to “rewind” it only a few minutes versus take it back all the way to the beginning but to no avail. It’s become quite annoying. One of them will get up and they will not pause it, then the other trys to “rewind” it a few minutes when they return and they press the back button and it takes it back to the very beginning. Then they are calling me to “get it back to where they were in the movie”. I kid you not, I have done this probably 100 times. It really makes me wonder why Plex made their UI this way.
