Samsung Smart TV Plex App - skip backwards does not work

Server Version# 1.42.2.10156 on Debian
Player Version#: latest version of Samsung app

Whenever I try to skip backwards 10 seconds, it will back up and then immediately jump forwards, back to where it was when I clicked the remote button.

Do the Plex developers support the Samsung App at all?

How can I troubleshoot this further?
