Plex player for Mac does not pass gateway check in upcoming Mac OS catalina

I assume this will be addressed soon with the eminent release of Mac OS catalina.
OS Catalina has added a “gateway check” for all apps. if the app does not pass the gateway check, it will not install. I think the developer app has to be submitted to some kind of test to pass the gateway check. The current release of Mac player does not pass this gateway check.
