Plex Player freezes after each show watched. I just get a blurred screen when the show finishes

This only happens when I use the Player on the same machine as Server. It also mainly happens when I press Play on a whole season (instead of individual episodes). Any help is appreciated!

Server version: 1.13.2.5154

OS: win10

Clients, w/ versions, if applicable: Player 3.61.1

Are you using it in Plex Media Player in TV mode or desktop mode? (desktop mode is like Web app in browser)

OK just trying to reproduce myself but have not been able to. Probably need to see the Plex Media Player logs

Sorry no the log didn’t have anything that stood out. Have had a few folks try to reproduce but none have been able to yet.

Does it get through a few episodes before it does it, or right after first episode?

I’ve had it happen both ways.

I don’t know if it’s related, but I’ve also noticed that when I finish watching an episode (and it properly goes back the the series page); the episode will sometimes only register as half-watched…even though I watched the whole episode from start to finish.

I have the same issue since a couple of weeks.

I’ve noticed that is the graphic card because when monitor goes black, if you press Windows+CTRL+SHIFT+B (for restart graphic card) the image returns but just for 1 second and goes black again.

I’ve tried several drivers and even reinstalled Windows 10 but the problem remains. I can only think it’s due a Windows update so I’ll try to do a fresh install and disable Windows updates.

I even try installing KODI and it has the same problem.

This problem only happens to me on my HTPC (GA-H270N-WIFI and i3-7100) but my PC (GA-Z270N-Gaming 5 and i5-7500) has no issue.

Any ideas?
